Dad was the ultimate southern sportsman. Ducks, deer, turkeys, bass were all fair game. But the first lessons he taught me were not of marksmanship or tracking game. Before I could join him on the river or in the woods, I had to first learn the importance of conservation, respect for the game we hunted and love for the Creator of it all.
