Flower and Decorations Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2005 until further notice.
Listed below are our rules and regulations pertaining to our Flower and Grave Decoration Policy:
Flowers are permitted in sub-surface bronze vases during mowing season.
In the winter months it is advisable to turn your vases upside down to keep them from freezing and bursting.
Flowers and Decorations will be removed seven (7) days after holidays.
Such as: Valentines Day, Easter, Mothers Day, Memorial Day, Fathers Day, Independence Day, Halloween, and Thanksgiving“¦.
Christmas Decorations may remain until February 1st.
At that time, cemetery personnel will dispose of everything that is NOT in a vase.
The placing of fences, decorative borders, shepherd hooks, gravel
or rock, and glass and/or pottery items around lots and graves are
strictly prohibited and will be removed by cemetery personnel without
notice.
If you put items of a personal nature on a grave, please allow
yourself time to return before the specific dates above to get them.
If you cannot return to get an item, feel free to call our office
at (859) 356-2151 and we will put these items aside and hold them for
you.
Mausoleum Decoration and Flower Policy:
- Flowers and decorations CANNOT be attached to crypt fronts in any
manner unless in a vase specified by the cemetery. No tape or gluing
etc.
- Any flowers or decorations in a vase that become unsightly or out of season will be removed by cemetery personnel.
