Flower and Decorations Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2005 until further notice.

Listed below are our rules and regulations pertaining to our Flower and Grave Decoration Policy:

Flowers are permitted in sub-surface bronze vases during mowing season.

In the winter months it is advisable to turn your vases upside down to keep them from freezing and bursting.

Flowers and Decorations will be removed seven (7) days after holidays.

Such as: Valentines Day, Easter, Mothers Day, Memorial Day, Fathers Day, Independence Day, Halloween, and Thanksgiving“¦.

Christmas Decorations may remain until February 1st.

At that time, cemetery personnel will dispose of everything that is NOT in a vase.

The placing of fences, decorative borders, shepherd hooks, gravel or rock, and glass and/or pottery items around lots and graves are strictly prohibited and will be removed by cemetery personnel without notice.

If you put items of a personal nature on a grave, please allow yourself time to return before the specific dates above to get them.

If you cannot return to get an item, feel free to call our office at (859) 356-2151 and we will put these items aside and hold them for you.

Mausoleum Decoration and Flower Policy:
  • Flowers and decorations CANNOT be attached to crypt fronts in any manner unless in a vase specified by the cemetery. No tape or gluing etc.
  • Any flowers or decorations in a vase that become unsightly or out of season will be removed by cemetery personnel.
