Linda Merkle

Linda Lorraine Merkle, 56, passed away on November 29, 2018, at St Elizabeth Hospice, surrounded by her family.  She was born on November 12, 1962 to Carl and Claudia Merkle.  Linda was employed by CVG as a shuttle driver where she worked until her recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was always doing for others, expecting nothing in return.  Linda loved to make others laugh and people were drawn to her outgoing personality, knowing she always put others needs above her own.

Linda is survived by her loving daughter and son in law Dena Merkle and Derek Thomas; her granddaughter and husband Kaitlyn Thomas and Thomas Findley; and a great grandson on his way.  She is also survived by her partner Pamela Howard; mother Claudia Merkle; brother and sister in law  Ron and Jan Merkle; sister and brother in law Diane and Jeff Suttman; sister and late brother in law Debbie and Lee Bennett; as well as several loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her father Carl Merkle; brother Richard Merkle and granddaughter Gabriella Danielle Thomas.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 1pm until time of service at 3pm.
