Marvin Clifton

Marvin H. Clifton, 82, of Covington, Kentucky passed away on November 18, 2018.  He was born May 2, 1936 to the late Beckham and Nellie Mae Clifton.  On October 25, 1963, Marvin married Jo Hannah Black and she preceded him in death on October 30, 2018.  Marvin was an avid sports fan, closely following the U of K Wildcats and the Cincinnati Reds.  He also enjoyed playing cards and bowling.

In addition to his parents and wife, Marvin was preceded in death by his son Clayton Allen Clifton; sisters Alma Hart, Louise Madrowski and Marcella Wainscott; brothers James, Billy, Albert, and Fred Clifton.

Marvin is survived by his son Marvin L. Clifton; granddaughters Heather Rucker and Britney Henson; great granddaughters Mia Rucker, Charlee Rucker and Luna Henson; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
