Alberta Mae Spicer

Alberta Mae Spicer, went home on January 13, 2024 to be with God and Jesus and those loved ones gone before her at the age of 70 years old. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 26, 1953, the daughter of the late Claude and Anna Beach. Alberta worked as a medical transcriber for several hospitals. She loved going to church where she played the piano and sang and read the Bible. Preceding Alberta in death was her husband, Woodrow Spicer; parents, Claude and Anna Beach; brothers, Claude Beach, Charles Beach, and Gilbert Beach; sisters, Regina Updike and Edith Steward; as well as many other relatives and friends. Alberta is survived by her brother, Melvin Beach of Florence, KY; sister, Patricia France of Walton, Kentucky; Edith Steward Beach, who she raised; two generations of family, Thomas Beach, Hazel Menefee, and Patricia Fisher. A visitation celebrating Alberta’s life will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Alberta will then be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery. May she rest in the arms of Jesus and family gone before her. Alberta, you will be truly missed.
