Alice Cunningham

Alice Faye Wilder Cunningham of Bethel, OH passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 9:07 a.m. at Anderson Mercy Hospital, Hamilton County, OH. Alice was surrounded by family who will honor her legacy through living their lives to the fullest. Alice was a graduate of Holmes High School in Covington, KY. After school she married Gerry Wayne George Cunningham, they had three children and owned laundromat businesses in Kentucky before divorcing. Alice went to the University of Cincinnati, carried 18 credit hour semesters as a single parent with three young children, made the Dean’s list and had a paper published while attending U.C. Her hobbies included journalism, she was published in local newspapers, animal fancy, cooking and reading. Alice was a loving, caring, mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Edward and Rose Wilder and John and Matti Alice Adams. Secondly, by her parents John Wilford Wilder and Elizabeth Stephenson Adams Wilder. Next, by her two brothers David Steven (Debra Caye) Wilder and James Allen (Patricia) Wilder. Finally, by her nephew James David Wilder. Alice is survived by her three sisters, Rose Marie (Ralph) Hollar, Elizabeth Ann (John Paul) Jones, Darla Jean (Michael) Hribar. Her three children Shelly, Charmin J. (Mark) Murphy and Gerry Wayne (Renee) Cunningham. Nine grandchildren, Andrew Cunningham, Adrienne (Lou), Chandler Cunningham, Madalyn Cunningham, Harry Murphy, Eden Murphy, Devin Cunningham, Lily (Calvin) and Jachin Murphy. Ten nieces and nephews, Gayle (Rose and Ralph) Hollar, Michael Hollar, John (Robin) Hollar, Jason (Darla Hribar) Furnish, Jeffrey (James and Patricia) Wilder, Patricia Jean (James and Patricia) Wilder, John Edward (James and Patricia) Wilder, Rachael (David and Debra) Wilder, Stephen (David and Debra) Wilder and Amanda (David and Debra) Wilder. Floral Hills Funeral Home is serving the family. Services will be held Monday, March 28,2022 at 11 a.m. Internment is in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Faith Garden.
