Anthony “Tony” Thompson,

Of Morning View, Kentucky unexpectedly passed away Monday, July 20, 2020. Tony was born October 29, 1950 in Pendleton County, Kentucky to Wallace (dec’d) and Geneva Thompson.  Tony worked at Bluestar for over 20 years where he made numerous friends. He loved traveling with his family to Gatlinburg and Florida. He was a huge horse racing fan and enjoyed Nascar and UK basketball. Tony is survived by his wife of 47 years Onie Thompson. He is also survived by his mother Geneva Thompson; brother, Conley Thompson; daughter, Tonya Thompson; grandchildren Taylor and Emma; great grandchildren Adalyn, Mason and Ayden; many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Tony is preceded in death by his father Wallace, brother Roger and sister Patricia Mullins. A Memorial Gathering will be held at on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 11a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 1p.m. Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic please remember to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
