Austin William Nuerge died unexpectedly in Bradenton, Florida on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, at the age of 35.

Austin is survived by his wife Jessica Nuerge; his mother Teri Nuerge; his dog Indy; siblings Amy, Aaron, Branden, Josh and Kelsey; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Austin was preceded in death by his father Bill, brother Andy, and grandparents Corydon & Josephine Nuerge and John & Dorothy Davie.

Austin was born on July 4th, 1986, in Lafayette, Indiana. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in History. Austin spent most of his adult life living in Independence, Kentucky where he was a successful sales professional who loved working with his clients.

Austin loved spending his time with family and friends. Since he was a young boy he looked up to his father, Bill Nuerge, as the ultimate role model. He was passionate about animals and enjoyed spending his time taking care of them. Austin enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, UK basketball, and Colts football. From concerts and sporting events to vacations and the annual 4th of July parties, life was a celebration to Austin.

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, March 12th, 2022, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, Kentucky with funeral service to follow.
