Bill Niles

William R. Niles, 75, of Erlanger, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood.  He was born June 10, 1947, in Cincinnati, a son of the late Russell and Mary Niles.  He was an Army Vietnam veteran, 2^nd BN/94^th Artillery, a 45 year member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 392, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Kelly Furnish VFW Post 7099.   He was a former member of Florence Lion’s Club, American Federation of Riders and a Patriot Guard participant.  He had various hobbies including model trains, motorcycles, camping, hunting and fishing. He was married 35 yrs to Cheryl Reed Niles, who survives.  Also surviving are two children, Jason Niles (Katie); Erica Niles( Carrie);  3 grandchildren, Anna, Zachary and Audrey.  Funeral services will be held 12PM Friday, February 17, 2023, at Floral Hills Funeral Home with Dan Houston officiating, with burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held Friday from 10 AM-12 PM.  Memorial contributions to Hospice of St. Elizabeth.
