Carol Jean Russell,

71 of Covington, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was employed by Latonia Elementary School for over 25 years, working in the cafeteria. Carol enjoyed playing Bingo and Yatzee and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband David Russell; parents Kelly and Dorothy Herald; brothers Arnold, Donald and Kelly Herald. Carol is survived by her daughter Regina Miller; grandchildren Shana and Jessica Kappes; great grandchildren Trinity, Amiyah, Alyvia, Aralyn and Jericho; siblings Mae Stevens, Wanda Bole, Ronnie Herald, Gary Herald and Sharon Rece; many extended family members and friends. A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 11am until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
