Cheryl Diane Molley

Cheryl D. Molley (Trapp) of Erlanger, KY died Friday, May 24, 2024, at Emerald Trace on Turkeyfoot Senior Care Facility. 

Born on June 23, 1945, in Franklin County in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Irene Trapp.

She was a 1963 graduate of Hamilton Township High School. Cheryl embarked on a career as a flight attendant for Lake Central Airlines in 1965, which brought her to the Northern Kentucky region. She married James E. Molley on April 13, 1968. Cheryl dedicated many years to caring for her husband and raising three sons. Her kindness and compassion were always at the center of her life and the work that she endeavored. Cheryl eventually re-connected with the airlines working for Comair Airlines for more than sixteen years as a Customer Service Agent and Gate Agent before retiring in July 2007.

She is survived by her husband, James E. Molley; sons, Chad (Tracy) Molley (children, Tatum and Payton), Ryan Molley (daughter, Ashten) and Mark (Amy) Molley.

In addition to her wonderful parents, her brother, Dennis L. Trapp; uncle and aunt, Norman and Mary Jo Trapp, preceded Cheryl in death.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. Visitation at 10:00 AM and services at 11:00 AM, with the receiving of friends to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
