Donna Ruth Resnick (Luzader)

Donna Resnick went home to her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 19, 2022.

Donna was born on June 3, 1940 in Covington, Kentucky.  She attended high school at Simon Kenton and graduated in 1958.  She served in the Army from 1958-1961.  Donna went to Carson-Neuman College from 1962-1966, obtaining a B.S. degree in Biology.  Following college, she taught high school locally near her home in Kentucky and then in Florida, from 1966-1971.  Donna met and married her husband for life, Philip Resnick, while teaching in Florida.  Donna and Phil were married for over 50 years.  Donna and Phil adopted two boys.

Donna was preceded in going to the Lord Jesus Christ by her mother and father, Arthur and Mae Luzader and her sister, Carol, and her son, Joseph Resnick.

Donna is survived by husband Philip, son Brooks, brother David Luzader, three grandchildren, and six nieces and nephews.

First in her life was Donna’s love for the Lord Jesus Christ.  Donna was baptized at Latonia Baptist Church in the 1940’s and was a child of the Lord, and is a child of the Lord forever and ever.  Her service of her Lord included singing in church and speaking to many church groups.  She studied the Bible voraciously and was always open to learning new things.  Donna was also a devoted prayer warrior.

After Phil’s retirement from military service, Donna supported Phil and gave him great input to his Christian ministry, doing the hard work.

Her last 25 years were spent living in her childhood home in Northern Kentucky.  One of her great loves was a continuing friendship with her 1958 Simon Kenton high school classmates.  She loved gardening, cooking, and hiking in God’s creation.  She loved dogs and cats, never turning away a stray.  During this time, she was a member of the Beth Messiah Messianic Congregation in Loveland, Ohio.  She was also a member of Grace Bible Presbyterian Church in Sharonville, Ohio.

What great love she gave all, because her Savior gave His all for her.

Visitation and viewing will be held on Friday, March 25 at 10:00 followed by a full military graveside service at 12:00, at the Floral Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, in Taylor Mill Kentucky.  A memorial service for Donna will be conducted following the visitation and internment on March 25 at 3:00 at Grace Bible Presbyterian Church in Sharonville, Ohio.  There will be a reception following the memorial service at the church.
