Douglas Massie

Douglas Paul Massie, 62, of Florence, KY, passed away at UC Hospital on Wednesday, November 10th, 2021. He was born on November 25, 1958, in Covington, KY. He passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. Doug was a hard-working man, retiring from Delta Airlines, a faithful follower of Jesus, and was a member of 7 Hills Church in Florence, Kentucky. He was passionate about his family, friends, horse-racing, collecting coins, his pets, and vacationing at the beach. Doug loved spending his time outdoors with his family, reading the Bible and talking politics. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Paul Massie and Wanda Jean Massie-Rankin. Beloved survivors include his children: Brandon (Brooke) Massie and Jessica (Jake) McMahan; Grandchildren: Noah, Leo, Reese, Barrett; Brother: Jerry Massie; Sister-in-law: Lois Massie; Nieces and Nephews: Paul (Ashley) Massie, Jerry Wayne Massie, Lisa Massie; and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
