87 of Newport, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021. She was a member of the FOE Newport 280 where she was in the Ladies Auxiliary. Edna attended St James St Boniface Catholic Church with her family who she adored. She enjoyed going to the casino. Edna will be sorely missed by her family who survive her: son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Sandra Deaton; grandsons Anthony “TJ” and Brandon Deaton; sister Agnes Davidson; many extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel E. Deaton and many brothers and sisters. A Graveside Service will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. with burial immediately following. Floral Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Deaton family.
