Edward John Rennekamp

Edward (EJ) John Rennekamp of Taylor
Mill, age 71, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, with his loving
family at his side. He was born in Campbell County, KY on September 25,
1952, to the late Elmer and Mary Dorothy Rennekamp. Edward graduated
from Holy Cross High School in Covington, KY. After high school, Edward
enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the U.S. Navy and was a longtime
member of the VFW Post Number 6905, Latonia, KY.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James (Jim)
Rennekamp and nephew Jeffery (Amy) Rennekamp.
He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis Bays; sibling, John (Sharon) Rennekamp; sister-in- law
Phyllis (Glenn Graham) Rennekamp; nieces and nephews, Jim (Karen)
Rennekamp, Joe (Lori) Rennekamp, Julie Rennekamp Milligan, Erica
Rennekamp Charters (Jon), and Natalie Rennekamp; as well as several other
friends and relatives who will cherish his memory.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 11:00 AM until
12:00 PM at Floral Hill Funeral Home, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. A burial will
immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Beer makers and local pubs are devastated by the loss of Edward. A
“Celebration of Life” toast will be held at 11:30 am at Floral Hills Funeral
Home.
Donations may be sent to St. Elizabeth Hospice Care in Edgewood, KY or
Holy Cross District High School in Covington, KY.
