Eva Tipton

Eva Marie Tipton, 83, of Newport, Ky, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital.  She was born February 8, 1938, in Newport, Ky., a daughter of the late Ellis Hurd, Sr. and Anna Dunaway Hurd.  She was married to James Tipton, who preceded her in death February 20, 2021.  Eva loved working in her yard, doing crossword puzzles, watching movies, reading and all of her grandchildren.  She is survived by two daughters, Ruby Colston and Patricia Jarvis; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hennessy, Casey Hennessy, Justin Hennessy, Sean Hennessy, Mandy Tipton, Donovan Jarvis, Jon Jarvis, Rachel Jarvis; and her great-grandchildren, Keegan Hennessy, Charlie Hennessy, Casey Hennessy, Jr., Cameron Hennessy, Isaac Hennessy, Lena Hennessy and  Josalyn Hennessy.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Tipton. Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 22, 2021, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
