LATONIA - Garnett Sheets, 91, died Sunday Feb. 17 at Rosedale Manor Nursing Home, Latonia.
She was a retried substitute school teacher with Covington schools, member of Latonia Baptist Church, Eastern Star Chapter 39 O.E.S. She was a volunteer at Booth Memorial Hospital, member of the Homemakers Club and Kissmee Grotto.
Her husband Floyd Sheets died in 1964. Survivors include her son, Terry Sheets and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 20 with services following at Swindler & Currin Funeral Home, Latonia. Burial will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
Memorials: St. Elizabeth Hospice Center 483 South Loop Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017.
