Irene Roberts

Irene Roberts, 87, of Union, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022, peacefully at home. She was born on March 3, 1935, in Irvine, Kentucky; a daughter of the late Hugh E. and AZ Shearer.  She is survived by her husband, Herman Roberts; her children; Teresa G. Hill (Jeff); Kimberly A. Eisenschmidt (Blake); Becky L. McGuire; the late stepson Jerry Pete Miller; her grandchildren, Miranda A. Eisenschmidt; Mason A. Eisenschmidt; Shannon E. McGuire and a great-grandchild, Grayson R. Hamilton. She is also survived by one brother, Paul J. Shearer and one sister, Beverly A. Shearer. In addition to her parents, Irene is proceeded in death by her brothers; Johnny, Wally, and Lindy Shearer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, where visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM.  Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 14, 2022, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
