HIGHLAND HEIGHTS - Jay T. Gampfer, 82, died Monday, June 16, at Florence Park Care Center.
He owned a television repair shop, was a Marine Corps veteran, member of Montezuma Marine Groups of Cincinnati, Disabled American Veterans in Newport and Veterans of Foreign Wars of Newport.
Survivors include his wife, Leila "Lee" Youkum Gampfer; sons, Garry and Garry J. Gampfer Jr.; brothers, Edward and Ronald Gampfer; sisters, Janet Galloway and Marilyn Adams; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday, June 20, with service following at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Memorials: St. Elizabeth Hospice Program, 483 South Loop Road, Edgewood, KY 41017; St. Elizabeth's Women's Wellness, 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, KY 41018.
