85 of Florence, Kentucky passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021, with her family by her side. A loving mother and grandmother who gave selflessly to her family and friends. Jo Ann often cared for neighborhood children always treating everyone as if they were family. She will be truly missed by those who loved her. Jo Ann is survived by her children Sherry (Wade) Phillips, Kenzie (Charlotte Haywood) Beard Jr., Brian (Cindy) Beard, Bridget Teets and Melissa (Mark) Tittsworth; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters Vickie George and Rebecca Warneford; brother Wesley Tilton; many extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenzie Beard Sr., son-in-law Wesley Teets, brother James Mangold and mother Velma Tuemler. A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 11am until the time of Funeral Service at 1pm. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
