Lawrence Raymond Sinclair

November 20, 1949 — April 3, 2024

Alexandria

Lawrence Raymond Sinclair, 74, of Alexandria, formerly of Newport, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Cold Springs Transitional Care Center.  Larry was born November 20, 1949, in Dayton, Kentucky, the son of the late John Sinclair and Betty J. Kaufman Sinclair, and his grandparents, Ray and Dessie Price Kaufman.   Larry was an Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam Conflict, stationed in Germany, and was retired from the Paul Moore Corporation.  He was a graduate of Newport Catholic High School, class of 1968.  He loved his U.K. Wildcats, bowling, fishing, cutting his grass, his ’64 Ford Pickup and working on cars.  He is survived by his wife, Debbie Allen Sinclair of almost 50 years and several extended family members.  He never forgot a face of anyone he met, and you could never ask for a kinder more caring man than he was.  No matter what he was asked to do he would jump in and do it.  We have definitely lost a great part of our lives.  Visitation will be Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 10-12 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home, with Michael Schafer officiating.  Funeral services to follow at 12 PM.  Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens with military graveside rites.
