Patrick "Rick" Lucas

Patrick (Rick) March Lucas, 72, of Wilder, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023. He was born on March 10, 1950, to the late John and Thelma Lucas. Rick was a drummer and enjoyed listening to live rock music. He also enjoyed playing softball and soccer. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play soccer and basketball, along with watching UK basketball, Star Trek, and British comedies. Rick was a jokester and a loving grandfather. He is survived by his daughters Angela (Goebel Deatherage) Lucas and Antoinette (Toini) Lucas; grandchildren Emilee (Evan) Harmeling, Jessi Urichich, and Evan Urichich; great-grandson Beorn Harmeling; sister Cinda (Lucas) Rudolph; and many loving nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. Rick is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis K. Lucas; grandchildren Nicholas Urichich and Michelle Smith; and brother-in-law, Ken Rudolph. A visitation will be held Monday, February 20, 2023, from 5 PM until 8 PM, and a second visitation will be Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, from 9 AM until the time of funeral service at 10 AM. Burial will immediately follow, in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society (4540 Cooper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242).
