Paul Marshall McMillan, 69, of Newport, a cherished husband, brother, and friend, passed away on September 19, 2024 in Cold Spring, Kentucky, at the age of 69. Born on July 20, 1955, in Covington, Kentucky, Paul lived a life defined by courage and dedication, particularly during his military service as a retired SEAL. His commitment to his country was unwavering, and his legacy as a Navy veteran will be remembered by those who knew and admired him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Arlene Haubner McMillan, who stood by his side throughout their years together. He is also survived by his siblings: Charles McMillan, Linda Ball, Mary Beth Janser, Kelly McMillan,
Allora Ransom, Kelly Franklin, Shawn Haynes, and Gary Franklin. In addition, he leaves behind several brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as many cousins who will forever hold fond memories of their time with him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles McMillan and Rose Dickerson McMillan, who guided him in life and instilled in him values that shaped his character.
A graveside service will be held in Paul's honor on September 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Rd, Taylor Mill, Kentucky, 41015, with military graveside services. He will be laid to rest in a place of peace and tranquility, surrounded by the beauty of nature, reflecting the life he lived and the love he shared.
