Ruth Audrey James,

Passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 93. She was born July 16, 1929, to the late Harry and Violet Pritchard. Ruth retired from the Internal Revenue Service and she was a faithful member of Latonia Christian Church. Ruth was a loving mother who was always there for her family and was cherished by many friends who will dearly miss her.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband Charles James, parents Harry and Violet Pritchard and siblings Lois, Norma, and Harry. She is survived by her sons Patrick (Mildred) Pyke, Thomas (Connie) Pyke, Stephen (Sheila) Pyke and Michael (Marlene) Pyke; step-children Dana James and Kelly James; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and many extended family members and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 11:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In Ruth’s honor, Memorial Contributions can be made to Latonia Christian Church. Floral Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve Ruth’s family.
