Ruth D. Riggs,

Age 90 of Maineville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was born in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late James Floyd and Rose “Frances” (nee Detheridge) Bays and later married Pastor Charles W. Riggs and have celebrated 69 years of marriage. Ruth was a woman of God who enjoyed reading her bible, spending time in prayer, and attending John 3:16 Church, where her husband was pastor. She also enjoyed vacationing at the beach but mostly loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Pastor Charles W. Riggs; children Charles (Charlotte) Riggs Jr of Maineville, Ohio and Daniel (Anne) Riggs of Anderson Township, Ohio; grandchildren Sarah (Eric) Riggs and Amber (Andrew) Hall; great grandchildren Havannah Hall and Anthony Hall; sister-in-law Gladys Bays; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Along with her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses George (Ellen) Shelton, Juanita Perkins, Pauline (Dave) Crider, Herman Bays and Phebe Bays. A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
