Victoria Stewart

Victoria Lynn Stewart-Mills,

66 of Covington, Kentucky passed away Monday September 13, 2021 in her home. Born September 2, 1955, in Laurel County, Kentucky she was the daughter of Jewel Stewart and the late Bill Stewart.

She loved life and taking care of others. In her early years she worked as an LPN. She was a member of the old time Holiness Church in Newport, Kentucky. She sang in the choir and was a Sunday School teacher. Victoria worked doing outreach to help children and the homeless in the community. She even wrote a cookbook to help raise money for the church. She loved children and would do anything she could to help them. She was the owner of Breath of Life Pregnancy Crisis Center. Before her death she was trying to adopt a beautiful boy named Lanydon; all while undergoing treatment (and all the things that go with cancer), she fought her bravest to keep going and to be strong all the time for those she loved.

She was very strong even to the end. It would be wrong to say that Vickie lost her battle, because she never stopped fighting no matter how sick she was. She was always determined. Vickie stayed strong, through her we know what resilience in the Lord looks like. She has checked into her heavenly mansion in the sky. Vickie is being laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, Kentucky. Her service will be graveside at 1:00 pm. Family and friends can gather there.

She is survived by her husband James Mills; mother Jewel Stewart; son Daniel (Johanna) Krumer; daughter Ashley Stewart; grandchildren Brooklyn, Jolie, Matthew and Isaiah Krumer; brother Steve (Amy) Stewart and many nieces and nephews that she loves so dear. She is preceded in death by her brother Michael (Cheryl) Stewart. She had a church family that ranged far and wide. From when she lived in Tennessee to now living in Kentucky. Many saw the grace and love that she shared with all. It is a time now for us to know that she is gone home. Please join us in remembering Vickie.
