Vivian Rust

Vivian Dean Rust, 96, peacefully entered into eternal rest on February 13, 2023 with family members by her side, where she resided with her daughter in Ludlow, Kentucky.

Vivian was born in Oneida, Tennessee and later moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where she graduated from Woodward High School. She was a dedicated worker for the Internal Revenue Service as a tax examiner and retired 32 years ago.

Vivian was a loving and caring mother and grandmother to all of her family. She was a very spiritual person and would help anyone in need. She enjoyed bingo, watching and rooting for the UK Wildcats and the Cincinnati Reds sports teams, traveling and fishing. However, her joy was living and working with her husband on their tobacco farm and selling vegetables at the Farmer's Market.

Vivian is survived by her children Jon (Donna) Frost, Richard (Theresa) Frost and Jerri Lynn Frost-Pence; grandchildren Dawn (Ken) McIntyre, Chris Frost, Jeff Frost, Jacqueline Frost, Melissa Frost-Collins, Michelle Frost, Jennifer Mullins, Cynthia Frost-Smith, Timothy Frost, Alaynna Frost, Alyssa Frost, Gary Scott (Karissa) Pence, Austin Matthew Weber and Christian Bryce Weber; 17 great grandchildren and a new baby girl, Kinsley, due this April 2023; 21 great, great grandchildren; brother Ted Adkins; sister Dorothy (Dottie) Wilkey; nephews Mark Richards and Randy Snow.

Vivian was preceded in death by her mother May Adkins-Colvin; father Ted Adkins; stepfather Ollie Colvin; sister Gerry Adkins; husband Morris Frost; husband Marion Rust; sons James and Michael Frost; grandchild James Frost (little Jimmy).

A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, February 25, from 10-11 AM, until time of funeral service at 11 AM. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
