Albert Lee Riddle

Independence – Passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the age of 83. Albert proudly served in the U.S. Army during the 1950’s, where he spent some time in Germany. After the Army, Albert was a  store manager of an Albers Grocery Store for years. He was later a salesman in the bread industry, starting with Rubel Baking Company and then spending 12 years with Klosterman Baking Co. and 7 with Nickles Bakery Inc. In his free time, he enjoyed watching sports like football and baseball, he even played baseball while serving in the Army. His favorite teams were the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. Albert is survived by his sons, Greg Riddle and Doug Riddle; grandson, Adam Riddle; and brothers, Robert Allen Riddle and Ronald Lloyd Riddle. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn “Sue” Riddle; parents, Sheridan and Fannie Riddle; and siblings, Anna, Mary, Judy, Dorothy, James, Donald, Wayne, David and Glen. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 17th from 10 am until the Funeral Service at 12 pm, all at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, KY. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, all of those attending services are asked to wear a face mask and practice social distancing. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Graveside Military Funeral Honors will take place on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 1 PM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY.
