Obituary

Allen C. Elam, 86, of Crittenden, died Monday, May 30, 2022, at home.  He was born January 11, 1936, in Covington, a son of the late John T. and Alice Campbell Elam.  He was an Army veteran, a Deacon at Grace Baptist Church, and was a retired Teamster’s Truck Driver and a retired Police Office with Ft. Wright.  He is survived by his wife, Oletta S. Maynard Elam; sons Timothy Elam (Melanie); Marty Elam (Jackie); Randall Elam; Derek Elam; daughters Faith Wagner (Chas); Melissa Covington (Don); 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Elam; one sister, June Holtkamp; and he was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Amanda Elam and one brother, Richard Elam.  Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 11-1 PM, with burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in Allen's name to Bluegrass Care Navigators (bgcarenav.org or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
