Latonia – Passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 66. James had a successful career at Duke Energy for over 30 years, he even continued as consultant for them after his retirement. James was an amiable man and a friend to everyone. He will be missed by everyone that knew and cherished him. James is survived by his son, James M. (Tessa) Eldred; daughter, Susan Eldred; grandchildren, Gabrielle Conley, Thomas Whaley, Logan Whaley, Desmond Whaley, Stella Eldred, Aden Jones, Addison Jones, Adam Jones; great-granddaughter, Deonna Whaley; brothers, Jerry Eldred, Jeffrey Eldred, John Eldred; and his mother, Naomi Eldred. He was preceded in death by his father, James Eldred. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 10 am until the Funeral Service at 11 am, all at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Due to Covid 19 services are for immediate family but it will be live streamed so you may watch. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made in James’ name to White Oak Chapel, 3260 W. North Bend Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45239.
