James Ritter

James Anthony Ritter, 59 of Covington, KY passed away surrounded by family on August 31, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Fort Thomas.

Jim was born on May 17, 1962 in Fort Thomas. He graduated from Campbell County High School and went on to be an auto mechanic. Jim was an extremely hardworking man who retired from Mark’s Garage at age 57. Jim’s favorite activities included listening to the Reds, grilling, and spending time with friends and family. Additionally, he loved fireworks and spent many years participating in Vito’s firework shows throughout Northern KY.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Karen Baker Ritter; one and only daughter, Danielle Ritter; Parents, James E. Ritter and Kathleen Hyland Ritter; Brothers, Greg (Connie) Ritter, Chris (Deanna) Ritter, and Eric Ritter; Sister, Michelle Ritter; four nieces, two nephews, and many other extended family members and friends.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 4pm to 7pm. In lieu of a funeral service, his family will be hosting a celebration of life party at a later date to honor his wishes.
