Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Jones

Liz was born November 24, 1939. She graduated from Lily High School, class of 1957. She retired from AT&T in 1989 and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was a member of the Horse Creek Baptist Church. Liz is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Lottie Hodge of Corbin, KY and 7 siblings. She is survived by her husband, Lester “Les” Jones, daughter and son-in-law, Debi and Paul Windhorn, her 3 grandchildren, Hanna (Elise) Windhorn, John (Kaila) Windhorn and Luke Windhorn, and her great-grandchildren Catherine Sebastian, Hugo, Otto, Alexander Windhorn, and her sisters, Dean Leurck, Marge Sebastian, and June House. The greatest love of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, May 14, 2022 starting at 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Jones’ family.
