Melanie Davidson

Melanie Lee Davidson, 59, of Cincinnati, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield.  She was born September 23, 1962, in Covington, a daughter of Patricia M. Bates Gilpin and the late Joseph W. Gilpin.  She is survived by her husband, Bobby J. Davison; three children, Heather Davidson, Joseph Davidson (Jessica); Jonathan Davidson (Debbie); and grandchildren Josh Plessinger, Jessa Plessinger, Jayden Davidson, and Carmen Davidson.  A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, July 16th, 2022, from 11-1 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Melanie was a lover of chocolate, coffee, and yard sales but nothing compared to the love of her children and grandchildren. Melanie was a creative woman and, in her youth, wrote haunting poems  that she passed along to her family to enjoy for generations to come. Melanie would most like to be remembered for leaving a legacy of love behind with her children and grandchildren. And though she is gone we can still hear her say… “Now you know what I have known all along” We love you Mom
