Obituary

Nellie Thelma Carrier, 85, of Bellevue, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. She was born in Casey County, Kentucky to the late John and Martha Sims. Nellie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Logue Carrier and son Michael Carrier. As well as her sisters Ethel Locke, Jaunita Richardson and brother Robert Sims. Survivors include her son, Ronald (Evelyn) Carrier of Bellevue, Kentucky, her adopted son, Larry (Donna) Locke of Bethel, Ohio and stepson Ernie (Vickie) Carrier of Sparta, Kentucky. She is also survived by her daughter, Patricia Closson of Butler, Kentucky, 22 grandkids, many great grandkids and 3 great-great grandkids. Nellie will forever be remembered as Grandma Nellie to so many, and she always had her doors open for anyone. Nellie was a mother and a grandmother figure to so many. She is survived by 100’s of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Floral Hills Funeral Home beginning at 10 a.m. until time of Service at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills is honored to serve the Carrier family.
