Roberta Evone Brown, age 90, of Covington, KY, passed away on August 25, 2021. A native of San Jose, California, Evone moved to Kentucky in 1951 after her marriage to her late husband Donald “Chief” Brown whom she met at a USO gathering while Don was serving in the US Navy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years and her loving son Dale A. Brown. She is survived by her children Rick Brown, Ron (Sue) Brown, Peggy Norris, Janet (Dennis) New, daughter-in-law Jenny Brown, and a daughter she took into her heart, Christine Grimes. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Parcels, and by her grandchildren: Stephanie Brown, Amy (Lou) Martin, Susan Brown, Kelli Kuchar, Adam Brown, Andy Brown, Tiffany (Adam) Hay, Ashley (Zachary) Cook, Brandy (Michael) Pearcy, Lauren New, and some other grandchildren that she took into her heart: Allison Donaldson, CJ Edwards, Austin Edwards, Nicholas Edwards and her great-grandchildren: Annie Walls, Madison Kuchar, Stella Kuchar, Kennedy Hay, Avery Hay, Amelia Hay, Annalynn Pearcy, and Sarah Pearcy, as well as many other loving family and friends.

They say behind every great man there is a great woman. Evone was the perfect example of this. She always cast a shining light on her family and they blossomed with her humor, unconditional love, and quiet humble demeanor.

Evone adored her family and always gave them her unwavering love and devotion. She enjoyed traveling, crafting, and sewing was her favorite hobby. She enjoyed being a participant at the Woolfest, and truly cherished her time spent at Myrtle Beach with family and friends. She lived well and she loved well.
