Shana Jo Holtkamp

Obituary

Shana Jo Holtkamp, 52, of Ryland Heights, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at St. Elizabeth in Edgewood.  She was born March 4, 1970, in Aurora, Indiana, a daughter of Nadine Bruce Meyer and   Harold A. Meyer. She was preceded in death by her father, and her husband of 21 years, Harry Edward Holtkamp, Jr. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Grace Holtkamp and Emma Holtkamp; two brothers, Justin (Jackie) Meyer; Kevin (Jane) Meyer; multiple sisters of the heart, her tribe, many other family members, and her beloved dog Walter.  She loved her daughters more than anything and was a fantastic mother. She also loved being outside- especially at the beach, in the pool, and in the flower beds. She was fiercely independent with a fiery spirit. She was always ready to have a good time. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 5PM – 8PM.  Funeral services will start at 10:00 AM Monday, May 2, 2022, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Harry Holtkamp memorial fund in person at any US Bank branch or the American Cancer Society.
