Vickie Beers

Vickie Beers of Union, KY passed away peacefully on April 17, 2021 at the age of 62. Vickie was a kind and humble woman with an amazing energy. She was very giving and opened her home to many over the years. Vickie was an active and enthusiastic church member at Community Family Church where she sang in the choir. She was a hardworking woman that had a successful 25-year career with Kenton County Schools, working for the Board of Education and then Twenhofel Middle School. She also worked as an accountant. Vickie was a wonderful wife, mom, mimi and friend to many. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Rick Beers; son, Michael (Kurstin) Beers; daughter, Megan (David) VonderPorten; grandchildren, Harlee, Hayden, Breeze, Elliott; siblings, Tom Wolfinbarger, Pat (Mike) Held, David (Erica) Wolfinbarger, Jeff (Carmen) Wolfinbarger; and her mother, Dorothy Wolfinbarger. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Wolfinbarger.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 4 – 8 pm at Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd. Independence, KY 41051. Additional visitation will be held on Thursday, April 22nd from 9 am until the Funeral Service at 11 am, all at the church. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
